Wait… so it is ok to laugh?

Make sure that you don't put your feet on the seats or stand up.

I hope so!  Keep your eyes on the stage,  the show is

about to begin!

Not in the theater or on the bus.  Save it for a better time to eat a snack.

I have a snack in my pocket.  Can I eat it?

  • Going to see a live theatrical production can be a thrilling and memorable experience, but for many youngsters, this may be their first time ever seeing a live performance and they may not know the proper theatre etiquette. Here are a few key things to point out to your students to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time at the theatre.
  • Arrive early so you have time to find your seat and use the bathroom.
  • Enter the theatre quietly and follow directions to find your seat. No running.
  • Once seated, please stay seated (unless directed to stand, like in the sing-a-long). It's important not to distract those around you who are enjoying the show.

It sure is!  If something is funny, laugh!  The performers love it.  Just be sure to be quiet after.  So you don't miss anything.
